Happy Paws: How We Made The Difference Through Support for Self-Employment

Danny Moreton loved the outdoors and he loved animals. Danny particularly loved dogs and had a dream to be self-employed and use his love of walking to offer a dog walking and dog sitting business.

Danny worked with one of our Communities for Work Mentors to receive funding towards setting up his own business. Danny said that the support he received made his dreams come true. It really made the difference to him.

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Danny was determined to set up his business during 2020 and even though he had some concerns he was able to use social distancing and safety measures to get his business off the ground.

We are thrilled that we were able to support Danny to launch his business Happy Paws.
