Since April 2020, we have continued to support our participants despite the difficulties relating to Covid-19. Even though our support has been different to how we usually work, we have still made a difference.

We have grown our presence on social media. You can now find us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. Search for us @cfwplustorfaen or scan the QR code below using your smartphone camera to take you directly to any of our pages or our website.

Danny Moreton loved the outdoors and he loved animals. Danny particularly loved dogs and had a dream to be self-employed and use his love of walking to offer a dog walking and dog sitting business.

April 2019 saw the start of the second year for Communities for Work Plus and the third year for Communities for Work.

We are so pleased to be able to offer employment support to those in Torfaen. We work with people who would like to get back into work or who need our help to upskill and improve their CVs so that they can work in the sector they really want.

The Communities for Work Plus Project has been up and running in Torfaen now for a year, and what a busy year it has been!

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we are unable to provide face to face appointments or work clubs at the moment, but our support still continues. Contact us via any of the methods provided if you would like support with job searching, completing application forms, preparing for interview, improving your CV or to discuss training.

The Building Resilient Communities team’s Financial Inclusion project has successfully supported over 625 people to improve their financial situation this year.
