Project Support Since April 2019
April 2019 saw the start of the second year for Communities for Work Plus and the third year for Communities for Work.
We are so pleased to be able to offer employment support to those in Torfaen. We work with people who would like to get back into work or who need our help to upskill and improve their CVs so that they can work in the sector they really want.

Work clubs
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we are unable to provide face to face appointments or work clubs at the moment, but our support still continues. Contact us via any of the methods provided if you would like support with job searching, completing application forms, preparing for interview, improving your CV or to discuss training.
Building Resilient Communities – Supporting You in Your Community
The Building Resilient Communities team’s Financial Inclusion project has successfully supported over 625 people to improve their financial situation this year.

Dementia Awareness Training
Over 2.5 million people in the UK are now Dementia Friends which means that awareness is reaching more and more people in order for them to be more confident when communicating with and supporting those with Dementia and their carers.
